Boaters Risk It In Florida Weather

Despite Florida being known as the Sunshine State, something that locals know very well is just how downright mean she can be as well. Florida weather is unpredictable: one moment it’s beautiful and warm, the next, wind is ripping through palm trees violently and rain is pelting you like a monsoon. 

Despite fairly calm conditions prior to the weekend this video was captured, one can see just how bad it can look–defying the conventional weather forecast even, should a tropical storm decide to randomly rear its head. 

All that being said, watch as Floridian tourists and natives decide it’s worth it and jump into the sea and lay on the sand, choosing to risk it anyway.
