Yacht Launches Dinghy Into the Ocean 

As some of the largest vessels traversing Haulover, yachts leave an impression of majesty and grandeur to passersby on the inlet and jetty. 

Due to their large size, they leave considerable wake as they pass–meaning, they better hope all their gear is safely secured to the vessel as they will leave a rocky road for those crossing behind them and dropped cargo is not a welcome addition. 

This particular yacht did not seem to get the memo as they crossed into the ocean. Almost immediately after getting into open water, they give the yacht some speed–only to have a wave on the back end knock their dinghy clean off. 

Most captains don’t even notice when these things happen but the captain of the Kristina of Miami Beach immediately turned around to retrieve the boat.
